Montague County Cowboy Church has always been a proud supporter of the Cowboy way of life! The cowboys of the Church stepped up and manned the roping chutes and work the rough stock for Jim Bowie Days Celebration since 2008. A short while later the Chuckwagon Team from MCCC has manned the concessions at the Community Center serving the beloved “calf fries” and fried catfish along with traditional concession food and drink. A few years later they were asked to help with checking tickets and guiding box seat holders to their seats. Many church members volunteer every year.
From Montague County Cowboy Church: The Montague County Cowboy Church exists to reach the cowboy culture for Christ. We will share the love of God with the unchurched and lost people of our Community in such a way that they have the best opportunity to become fully developing followers of Christ.
